two sets of data within the one group
This is my real world example
for each 'package' i have some 'Features' and some 'Payments' and i cant for the life of me work out how to do this
Package Name (there will be lots of packages)
Payments
Method Amount Paid
DETAILS, REPEATING PAYMENT RECORDS
Total $amount
Features
Feature Details Fulfilled
DETAILS, REPEATING FEATURE RECORDS
Now i can group by packageName, and then group by Payments but how do i get Features in there aswell!? or alternatively i cant put features in there but then i cant get payments!
i need two things in the grouping heirachy on the same level, which i cant see happening....
any tips would be great, such as a grouping list i see in my 'group expert' would be helpful.
note: ill post this in the reporting forum too, but no one goes there lol

I hope I have this straight. You want to print the Payments and Features of the Package side by side but there is no logical link between the two.
Probably the easiest way would be to create a sub-report for both detail types and then print them in the details section of the main report or even the Group Footer of the Package. Note I don't use Crystal 9 and so have no idea of its capabilities, new features etc..

ok, yeah, i rekon this is a serious limitation in CR9, not being able 2 display two sets of data within a group, i woulda thought that alot of ppl would need this.
ill probably do the drill down report thing.
besides this problem, i think CR9 is awesome!
