DX Error on XP machine

I can get DDraw to work on 98 but i get the error number

-2005532522 when i attempt to blt to the primary surface in windows XP

I know this is a very very difficult question but does anyone know what this error is???????

Has anyone had any trouble before????


If you have XP can you test it and see if a message scrolls

You Need to open group1 in test folder for full app

I did not try your app, I'm at school and DL is illegal and monitored. But I have had problems with blitting and XP myself.
I learned a little but never fixed my problem.
I found the problem is in gdi32 (the dll). My problem was with StretchBlt but they're in the same file. The problem is that the dll is kinda different. With the XP 2000 NT, MSDN decribes the gdi32.dll as a client dll. Rather version 5.x as a client dll, but only the networking OSs have 5.x. Where as 98/95/ME have 4.9 and 4.10.

Mind you I never fixed my problem so I can't really help, but maybe I can point you in the right direction (the dll direction).

I hope some of this helps, and please someone correct me if I'm wrong.
