Invalid page fault in module scrrun.dll

Hello,

I have a vb application that was created with Wise InstallBuilder 8.1. The application needs to work on Win95 and NT4. I have tested it on NT4 /w IE5.5, NT4 /w IE4.01 and Win95 /w IE5.5 and the application works fine. But when I try to install the application on Win95 /w IE4.01, I run into this error message:

"VViewer (my app) caused an invalid page fault in module scrrun.dll at 0137:66803d90 ..."

This occurs when I try to close the main form and exit the application. Other than this error message, everything else works fine.

By the way, I'm using MS Scripting Engine 5.1.

Does anyone have any idea as to the cause of this error message??? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!!

As is always the case, I found the answer to my question just after I posted my question.

It appears that this is a bug if you have version 5.x of the Scrrun.dll file and your operating system is Microsoft Windows 95.

The solution appears to be to upgrade the scripting engine to version 5.5 which has fixed this bug.
