Gus, I understand that you need to advertise on this site, and the top banner ads were vaguely tolerable. The attached screenshot demonstrates taking ads too far. The top menu section, and the vast add next to it (usually only found in the middle of articles at CNet etc since no-one wants them at the TOP of a page) takes up slightly over half of my screen at 1024 x 768. To me, this is a bit crap, putting it politely. I'm not expecting you to remove your ads, but it would be nice if you would have a little more consideration with their placement and size. I think even you would agree that having to scroll for ages just to reach the first post is a little ridiculous.
