    JPG and GIF images not showing on IE (Resolved)

    I am getting to learn VB.net and in doing so working also with ASP.net. I am encountering a problem where on my computer everything works fine using IE6 while on my other networked computer using Win98 with IE5 GIF and JPG images are not showing. Only a red cross is shown instead.

    The rotator control works fine using GIF files.

    Does anybody have a clue of what could be causing this. All my images are saved under the application folder in the InetPub folder.

    Just to rule out the obvious: you don't have images turned off in the Internet Options do you?

    Images not showing

    I compared the two IE but altough the versions are different I cannot find anything obviously different. Is there anything in particular to check ?
