    Unregister sqldmo.dll

    Hi,

I need to install the newest version of sqldmo.dll.

Unfortunatley a fellow worker copied the newer version over the old without un-registering the old copy first.

I am unable to un-register the old version now, as I guess the "registry?" references the old version but the newer file exists in its place.

How can I get rid of (un-register/kill/destroy) the current .dll so I can register the new version?

The regular regsvr32 -u sqldmo.dll does not work..........

    Thankyou very much...

Click Start, then Run. enter 'regedit' and OK it.
Its a bit like windows explorer. Use the Find facilty under the Edit menu uption abd look for that dll. remove the values u want including the key they are in. I suggest you make a registry backup b4 starting this as your system may become corrupt if u remove the wrong stuff.
