Yes, you can run PHP on Win2k. You can either use IIS (I believe it comes with Win2k?) or download Apache and use that.

I've run Apache, PHP, and MySQL on Windows without a problem for atleast half a year now.

PhpMyadmin is the best of choice for managing mysql.

I run a test website using IIS, PHP and MySQLAdmin. It all works quite happily together. As for IIS vs Apache, I only use IIS because it is a test environ and it came with Win2K. If it was a production server, I'd use Apache.

BTW: Version 1.3.xx of Apache is best (version 2.xx.xx doesnt work too well with PHP and a lot of PHP Scripts )

I have only ever used Apache & Xitami as webservers (IIS = security hole if u dont patch ur windows regularly! [ well so is apache, but u no ] )
