    GZip faster?

    I've recently implemented gzip compression for all objects (pages, images, scripts, css) on my site. Does it really help? Has anyone noticed any improvement on their speed? Mine seems to be about the same. Maybe a bit smoother. Not sure.

    enabled gzip, hmm never heard it being used for compression on a whole site.....
