Related Equations Dealing with Circular Objects

What's the equation to find the volum of a fraction of a cone? Like a cut-off toped cone and finding the volume left over on the bottom?

    NO CALCULUS PLEASE!

Well that had calculus in but you probably can't do it without so bad luck.

If I had a cone and cut off top.. so that it was in mid section.. couldn't you use trigonometry???
I always figured you could find the surface area by taking the average circumference and using that.. as if it were a cylinder.. could that be applied? Like get the surface area of the average circle (in mid of frustrum or what not) and do that * Depth???? Or am I way out of my league
Don't pay attention to this signature, it's contradictory.
