Suggestion
When someone asks a question and someone else replys & solves it, the thread starter is suppost to edit the 1st post and enter the word *Resolved* into the subject. Maybe there's a better way...
Sometimes your willing to answer other peoples questions, but you don't need to read posts that are resolved. When your viewing the forms it would be nice if you could filter out the resolved posts. Or if there was some other what the resolved posts could stand out more.
What if there was an extra column that would say if the post was resolved or not. or Maybe the thread could be shown in a differnt color then the others.
Also instead of having the thread starter edit the 1st post & change the subject, what if they could just press a button that would set their post as resolved. Of course the button should ask "Are you sure you want to set this thread to RESOLVED?" Yes or No. and if the person that pressed the button was not the thread starter then display an error.

Well ...
This has been posted numerous times. The problem is such a feature will require the vBulletin software/templates to be modified or probably a hack. The suggestion of editing the first post of the thread and adding "Resolved" to it was made by John in reply to a similar thread way way back.
Marty (i.e. MartinLiss) has also suggested a way to filter out unanswered questions. When viewing a list of threads, click the column header of "Replies". Then click it again. Clicking it twice will rearrenge the threads in the ascending order of replies, 0 onwards. Thus the topmost part will contain threads which have not been answered so far.
