Anyone know how fast that TEAC 220-E is? It's the model on my old laptop. It played stuff slow.

Speaking of diagnosis, how do you find the speed of CPU on a Win95 machine?
DxDiag doesnt work, no Sysinfo either.

Hi M8y
Judging by the title, i'de guess a 20x CD. Every manufacture usually put's the speed in the title somewhere. I haven't checked.. but it's probably a 20x.
Regards,
Paul.

Yeah, I think so too. But When It plays VCDs the screen(movie) just goes at a really low frame rate. You can notice the frame rate, like 1fps. I don't think it's the CDRom's slowness, I remember i had a 12x and playd VCDs fine, is there a setting I didn't set on my laptop? Heh, it's a WIndows 95. Bought it back in 97, costed around $4000 back then.
14.1'', 80mb, 3gig, ...
