winpopup sticky notes code

Does anybody have an example of implementing some form of winpopup user messaging across a Win 95/98 network from within VB. This could be either a code example or a reference to a good quality ActiveX control that performs this feature.

Uhh, I have vb6 code to do something like this using DHTML pages, but I don't know if that's what you're after...

Just tested it, it works over an intranet and the Internet, but maybe not a plain network. I dunno. The theory is the same though, so it may be worth your time. Up to you.
