    ok HD working

    hd is recognized in bios, but, it hasn't been assigned a drive letter and i don't know how to do this! the website i was reading said to format and partition it. but what do i call it if its not assigned a letter!!!

    you can use fdisk. go to start>run. then type fdisk. then follow the instructions. its not too difficult, usually.
