    VB + Office

    Hi,

    Since yesterday, I have this strange thing going on:
    when I start VB MS Office 2000 setup begins running immediately, trying to install files, asking for the cd etc. I have to press the cancel button 4 times before I can continue with VB. And even when I've 'reached' VB, it sometimes gives an error: "An error has occured, an automated error report will be generated." But I haven't touched the VB install or MS Office install for weeks.

    And the worst part is:
    if I insert the Office cd, it installs some things, but the next time it does the same again!

    Has anyone encountered this before?

    Do you have some addon or something that's being loaded by VB that requires Office files or something ?
