these 2 errors are plaguing 1 in 10 users of a modest VB App. sometimes upgrading ms IE clears it up. sometimes not. How do i fix it? Can i trap the errors? any help would be appreciated. thx, john

Most likely mean that the machine that the program is attempting to run on does not have the vb runtime files. To solve, you should assemble a setup package with the P&DW which is located in the Visual Basic folder in the start menu. It will add all the needed files to one setup file.

I had the same problem today, I brought a program that I made (BSoD) to school (along with the vb6 runtime file) and then it says that it can't find oleat32.dll so I'm gonna bring that file in tommorrow, but anyways, whats that file used for?
