win 2000 DNS server
Hi there...
I was wondering if any of you great people happend to know about a good site explaining Win 2000 server settings, espicially DNS setup.
the thing i want to kno about is how do i forward Clients to the internet through my DNS server, when the clients primary DNS points to the DNS server.. ???

The way I setup our own server, and it works I might add , is that for the clients, in their tcpip properties, the dns server is our own win2k server, and on the server itself the dns server setting in tcpip properties is our ISP's dns servers.
Also, you'll want to make your server an authorative server, and make a forward lookup zone of your domain name, with the server's hostname in there with its IP.
