screen saver help
I need help creating a screen saver using a 3d world I made... I make animation and 3d worlds and would like to use one or more in a screen saver, the software out there for screen saver creation stinks...
any help would be great...
I am still learning VB and would like to use my 3d animation skills to get something in the oven as quick as possible, learning as I go...blah blah blah...
If I new it all - what would be the adventure?

can an engine be made zooom
Would it be qiucker to pay someone to write a generic engine whilst I learn which way is up?
Unless there is an engine out there, I wouldn't want to reinvent the wheel and all....lol

No, it probably wouldn't be quicker, and it wouldn't pay off anyway.

well you NEED direct 3d for something like that and the best place to learn it is(as I know) www.directx4vb.com
comments: real time rendering isn't like modeling you need to minimize the number of faces and use more primitive materilals so the engine can render it in time(=about 30 frames per second) and this isn't easy I have tried to learn D3D about a year ago and am still working on it
other option: render it in your 3d porgram and just run it in your app(very big file size)
