My quest of ignorance
I, being someone that has to try everything, want to make a DVD. I have created an image in Nero thus far and everything is going to plan... but I have a CDRW drive.. but the thing is, the disc space it takes up will only be 258 megs, and thus I want to burn this onto a CD-RW and play it in my DVD player (it supports CD-RWs, but I don't know if in this way). Now, I'm getting buffer underrun every time I try, and I don't know why... it's on the hard disk, and I have plenty of cache space (in Nero).
Anyone have an idea?

I haven't tested it, I may be able to today. It doesn't really matter though, it was a stupid idea anyway

Have you tried slowwing your burner down?
I'm off to GalahTech, hope to see you there.

some things you need to know.
The thing to know is not wether your DVD player can read CD-RW, if you are trying to put a movie onto a CD, you need to see if your DVD player supports VCD(Video CD) and you need to get it to the CD in the VCD format. also, It is ok to use a CD-RW disk, but make sure you dont write using the CD-RW standard, just plain CD-R, becasue the chances of that disk running on anything else other than the burner itself is small.
Heck, Id look into the DVD/CD burner Pioneer is coming out with next month
4x DVD-RW 16x CD-RW for 300$
Not bad. I think it is the DVD-RW standard..maybe DVD-R..cant be sure. There are too many DVD writing standards../
They said it cant burn the full 7.5 gigs onto a DVD in about 15 minutes...pretty cool.
