    Question

    Hi, thought I'd attack this one from another angle - can I detect which app has called my app?

    Finding the calling APP

    I don't know exactly how to do this, but there MUST be some kind of trail in the OS.

    I suspect that a called process will leave a trail, possibly even that the "child" process ID will be related to the ID of the calling process.

    You might try looking up hWndID or something equally rediculous.
