I have an access database which contains several forms. I would like to make a VB app so that people who do not have MS access on their machine can still use the forms to input data into the database. Our company would have to pay $275 per station to put access on. The forms are written in VBA and the database is password protected.
thank you for your time and have a good day
I am so skeptical, I can hardly believe it!

is there a way to export the forms and the code. I understand I would need to tweak the code to run under VB but their has been a lot of time spent on the look and feel of these forms. These are the best looking forms I have ever seen. The two working on this project spent almost 6 months going back and forth. They don't have any programming experience so they justed used VBA because it was all that was available to them.
now we want to use it but only 5 of the 40 have MS access.

are there any MS Access forums?
I do not think that I am the first person to ever want to export VBA forms to use in a VB program.

I feel bad that no one has responded to you, and I'm afraid I can't be a whole lot of help. All I can tell you is that I believe I saw an ad once (relatively recently, within the last 2 years) for a product by a third party company to convert Access apps to VB. Sorry I can't help you more. Good luck.

Badgers, I have an application that claims to be able to convert Access to VB. (Forms and code)... Well I have my doubts, but if you're still alive, email me at [email protected] I will send you a copy.
