Outlook 2000 database?

My first question is - where does the data in outlook 2000 reside? in a database, or does the data reside elsewhere (i.e in a form)

secondly - if there is such a database - is there a way of getting direct access into it - in order to add custom tables

If there is a database for Outlook2000 then it's either well stored in the hard drive (or RAM) and if you will be able to find it, it must have a password of like 1000 chars
