Thread: finding cd-rom drive

    I'm installing a media presentation on a computer but i wanted to keep the videos on the disk rather than installing them to, how can i tell the program to find the cd-rom(without knowing the drive letter in advance) and play the videos from there?

    any help is greatly appreciated
    VB6.0 SP4
    Windows 2000

    Take a look at this. It might get a bit more information than you require but it does return the Drive letter of the CD-rom
