    Can you set up a dual boot with Windows XP and 98????

    Is it hard?

    it is possible. If u have two partitions that would be really easy.

    First install win98 and then winxp ..and remember you can only use FAT system then.

    First off, I don't think you need to know this ASAP, as I don't know any reason why you HAVE to setup a dual boot system right away. Secondly, there are plenty of other places to look for this info. Try google, it's your friend. Lastly, don't just "post here because no one is in the other forums". It's inconsiderate to those of us that are actually seeking VB help.

    Hi!

    I think if you have folders like this: C:\WIN98 and C:\WINDOWS (This is XP)

    then you will put something like this in boot.ini

    Code:
    [operating systems]
    multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WIN98="Microsoft Windows 98"
    multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect
    Not sure but should work!
