Hi, i am still getting used to vb.net, i downloaded a project from the internet that had an outlook style control. now i want to use that control in my app. i only saw the dll and some resx files, how do i add the control or reference it in my project?

any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Right click the toolbox, select Customize Toolbox.

Now click the .Net tab. It may take a second to switch over to it.

Click the browse button, find the dll file you downloaded. Hit OK.

It should now be in your toolbox.
