    Make USB / SERIAL Device

    I want to make a USB or Serial Alarm for my computer. where can i get a diagram to build a Device to Check if the curicut is open or closed?

    i don't suppose making a USB device would be very easy, but serial might be possible

    No, it's not that it's not at the right place, just wondering if you really want to make hardware yourself. I tried it once, and I think you're brave. But that's because I just don't know anything about electronics etc........
