    Any opinions on Dbase?

I am thinking of switching from Access to Dbase, any thoughts?

    Well

    Why the switch?

For more robust features, go with SQL or Oracle, that is, if you have a large checkbook...

Access only allows about 2000 characters per record and I need a more robust db

I'm gathering the application you are working on is not for a company you work for, but rather something you intend to develop, and attempt to sell commerically.

Would that be a correct assumption?
