    Unhappy Auto Restart Mysql?

This seems more like a shell scripting issue to me but I was wondering if any other people using mysql have this issue. What happens is when my companys server goes down (whether it is critical updates that require restart or something else) and it reboots, mysql has to be manually restarted. That's not a problem when I'm around but our server went down last week during a bad storm and I wasn't available. So the next day, I get the call that the mysql server was down and I had to fix it. Is there anyway to add the two lines it takes to start mysql server to a boot file on the linux server? and has anybody else had these problems, or am I just doing something wrong?

    Thanks
