Acrobat Reader screws up my printers
After I open Acrobat Reader, load a file close it and exit, I get an crash message window: "Spool32" (stack error in spoolss.dll). Thereafter, in Configuration/Printeres all my printer icons are gone and I have to reboot the computer to fix the mess. This has been happening to me with both versions 4 and 5 of the Reader and on 2 of my office computers, but only on those 2!
Help will be appreciated...

I had a similar problem and solved it by taking the following steps:
1) I ensured that I had all the recent patches (hotfixes, service packs, etc.) for my operating system.
2) I downloaded all the most recent printer drivers from the manufacturer (HP in my case).
3) I used the most recent version of the "Reader" that was available at that time (I don't recall the version number).
I am not sure which of the steps actually solved my problem, but you might want to try it... It worked for me in any case.
Good luck.
