Trying to find adapter for old laptop
I have acuired an old laptop... its an old 486 as far as I can tell but I want to get it running for the fun of it. It's a Duracom Mediabook (fcc id:fmak9200c). It has batteries and I believe they work but no charge and I have no adapter... I can't seem to find any info online to get one... maybe I should just try Radio Shack.
any one have any ideas?
Thanks,
michael

If there is a logo next to the power input, a kind of broken circle with a line coming from the centre going out to one side, and some numbers next to it - just take it to radio shack or wherever, they'll have something that will work.

I couldent find the manufacture's (Duracom) site so I am guessing they went under or were bought and the laptop has no indication of the voltage/amperage or I would have gone to radio shack by now to get one to match. I did contact a web company that specializes in laptop adapters and batteries and they responded this morning asking for #'s off of the batteries (but the laptop is at home) so maybe they can help.
Thanks
