Administrator password changed on win nt 4.0 server. (this one is not blank).

Administrator password changed on win nt 4.0 server.

    I have a network of 10 computers (all WinNT4.0) and 1 server (WinNT40 Server).
I rebooted my computer (WinNT 4.0) and when I tried to log back on I was not allowed (I am administrator). I did have the correct password and I did not have the caps lock on. So, I went to the server, retyped the password, and came back to my desk and it worked fine.
What gives? What happens if the server gets rebooted? (and since I posted the two that crashed our power blinked... luckly I have the server on a UPS...whew)

    Thanks in advance,
    Michael

Hmmm ... that's weird ours work fine. Not some weird expiry problem is it? Even our Admins have to get new passwords every 30 days or so, but l thought the actual Administrator password never expired.

Hey move everything to Win2k, cut down a lot of your hassles.

I don't have any of mine set to expire as we are a small company and our biggest risk is someone outside the company physicly breaking in.

If we had that kind of money I would rather just get paid more

    Thanks
