    Running REMOTE files

I need to run some files ( .txt, .doc, .jpg, .html , .avi, .mp3 and some other type of sound files ) from remote machine . I need to have an INTRANET application which should run the respective files from the REMOTE itself ( without downloading the files from REMOTE machines to end machines) . Could any body suggest me which control should I use . It will be great if some body can point me to smaple applcation.

I don't know that there is a way to 'stream' those kinds of files if that is what you mean, but if the user has a default client for the file type then browsing to them should run them. Of course just like over the internet they will be downloaded to the temporary internet directory and actually ran from there.
