Thread: ADO and Oracle. One computer works. One doesn't.

    Hi,
    I have two computers with Oracle's SQL Plus80 installed. This works on both computers.
    On one computer I can also use ADO to communicate to the Oracle database through VB. The other computer gives me an error about "Oracle client and networking components were not found".

    Does anyone know what might be missing? Something not registered? Missing Dll's? etc...

    Make sure both machines are running the appropriate version of MDAC
