    Question Checking a secondhand laptop??

    I'm inteding to buy a secondhand notebook but I am having troubles in checking a notebook's performance.How to check it to find it still good or just a rag??:-D Thanks for ur help!!!

    Okay get this question all the time in the office...

    First thoughts are, what do you want to use it for? What OS are you planning on running on it? Win2k, Xp etc may have problems on older machines without 32 vid cards.
