    Get all the patches from Microsoft, and run some other kind of virus protection like AVG (www.grisoft.com).

    With Outlook XP certain filetypes are blocked permanently (I still haven't worked out how to extract a .exe from a mail I sent to myself as a test )

    this may be of interest. of course it only increases the likelihood of getting viruses but ohhh well.

    Change the extension to .REG

    now, blimey, i must be going to catch a flight.
