Network arghhhh
Im trying to link up two pc's, both are using Win ME ans using a direct cable thingie connection. Its 10/100mb but the real problem is that on the one pc it refuses to open "entire network", an error message comes up saying it cant open it and thats that. The other pc can see itself in the network but not this busted up one. Both are using the same network cards and its really starting to make me mad.
Thanks in advance

Are you using the right cable and getting the lights working on both NICs?
Josh
Get these: Mozilla Opera OpenBSD
I have books for sale: "MCSD in a Nutshell" and "VB Distributed Exam Cram" - PM me for details. Will also trade for a decent ATX Pentium 2 MB/CPU/RAM combo.

uninstall and reinstall all the network drivers and protocols, and check your settings again
if that doesn't work, assume its just windows me being lame

Are you using a hub? That might be the problem. If not you have to use a cross over cable.
