    apache problem

im running apache on a RedHat linux 7.1 system which is connected to a linksys 4 port router then to a cable modem. is there any reason why i cant access the web pages from out side my network?
I was going to send you a check, but I have a male and a female cat, and one of them got hold of it and ate it, and as far as I can figure out..... your check is in the male.

Make sure you set it up in httpd.conf (I forget the specific variable) not as localhost (127.0.0.1) but as your WAN IP.

Are you forwarding the HTTP port from the Linksys to the web server? This is easier to achieve if you don't set your web server as a DHCP client - use an IP address in the same subnet as your LAN, but not one in the router's DHCP pool.

Linksys should have docs on doing this on their website. Also, you might want to flash your firmware - this might give you new features and make it easier to work with thru the web interface, and also will plug security holes.
