Why, oh why, is the error handler not being invoked?

Private Sub drvList_Change()
On Error GoTo DriveHandler
   DirList.Path = drvList.Drive
   Exit Sub

DriveHandler:
    Select Case Err.Number
        Case 68 'device unavailable
            MsgBox "Drive unavailable etc etc"
    End Select
    Exit Sub
End Sub

I should be...
Check the Error Trapping setting. Click on Options in the Tools menu and choose the General tab and make sure "Break on all Errors" isn't checked.
