    cgi-bin folder

    since, im new in web programming and hope somebody can explain on watz does the cgi-bin folder used for? can i put something into it and watz web language to use in order to access that folder?

    It all depends on the configuration of the web server...

    True, but normally, the Cgi-bin folder is used to store CGI files and run cgi files from there.
