Angry An error occurred while registering the file?

    Hi guys.
I was wondering if someone could tell me what to do.

I use VB6.0 SP3, Access97 and ADO to interact with my DB, Crystal Reports 8.0 Developer Edition for reporting.

When I install my system on, I think a machine that was loaded with win95 and was UPGRADED to win98SE, Then I get the following errors:

    1. "An error occurred while registering the file 'C:\windows\system\msado21.tlb' "

    2. "An error occurred while registering the file 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\ADO\msador15.dll' "

    3. "An error occurred while registering the file 'C:\windows\system\cdo32.dll' "

Can someone please tell me what type of file this *.tlb is and for what it is used in systems or just how I can fix my problem and also what "cdo32.dll" is used for in a system.

Now maybe most of you will say that I must upgrade to the latest SP for VB6, but I am scared that it will create other bugs in my system, for I heard that some programmers say it creates other bugs if you sometimes upgrade your SP.

    Thanks in advance

Registration errors normally occur on systems when you need to be logged in as an admin to amke changes to registry settings.

.tlb files are type library files.

I think cdo32.dll is for Collaboration Data Objects.
The liver is bad. It must be punished.
