Thread: How in hell to add ADO to VB 5.0

    I think that somebody out there has got to know how in the heck to get the ADO control into VB 5.0 please tell me how or maybe its not even possible.

    ADO shipped starting with vb6, so it is not included with vb5 and you need to either get vb6 or use DAO

    If you download MDAC from Microsoft, you can use it with VB5 - http://www.microsoft.com/data
