Hi. do you guys know what does the 'jdbgmgr.exe' do, and what does 'setdebug.exe' do.. i received an email stating that this is a virus and i should delete it. but i am sure it's some kind of a debug thing for Java and i presume it ships in with Windoze.. can anyone confirm this.. or give me an explanation of what these files really do?

    hi

jdbgmgr.exe virus - is a hoax that is going around. this is a legitimate file that runs java applets for windows. it came with your O/S. It is not a critical file so your o/s should still run without it.

this is the mail address that les you know about the virus hoax and there are links to antivirus sites that tell you how to get the teddy bear file back if you have deleted it.

however, if you've had the magistr virus at all then it it very possible that this file is infected.

    hope this helps
