    does anyone know how to remove icons of other programs from the system tray without crashing them?... for example, removing the internet dialup-connection icon, but maintaining the connection.

    I have seen another program remove certain icons from it, while allowing the program to continue running. i would like to know how i can do this.

    Try the Shell_NotifyIcon API. forgot the exact syntax for it. u can check it out at
