    side scrolling

    anyone know of a side scrolling fighter game made in VB, i need some examples of things. if anyone could help id appreciate it
    if not no worries ill manage

    There's a really nice side scroller called Zoom, but maybe it's too complex for you... look for a space shooter at www.planet-source-code.com , most of the samples are really bad but I'm sure you'll learn something with them

    Yes, but hmm it's maybe a bit complex too. When I first got into DX I didn't even look at it, it was too big and hard to understand

    well yeah it is not that straight to read you get into different functions all the time I believe... (haven't looked at it for a long time)
    but when I first saw it it was the best VB game I had seen to this point in time... of course after programming my own ones after learing DX7 there where much better ones
