Creating a Forum

Hi All,

A friend of mine has asked me to create a forum for his boat club. I was hoping to use this forum as a template. Thing is i haven't a clue how to progress. Do i need to write an app from scratch if so should i use ASP, and if so should i use ASP.NET with JAVA, or can i get the code somewhere for free.

Any input would be welcome.

You could use the same forum software used here, available from http://www.vbulletin.com/ but I believe you have to pay a license fee.

Alternatively you can find many forums and suchlike from http://4guysfromrolla.aspin.com/home...4guysfromrolla Some you have to pay for but there are a number of free ones.

Of course you could write your own but I suspect it is a big task and overkill for what you require.
