    Question about vb.net

    Hello...
    I have a problem with an MSAccess DB...
    This is my situation...
    I have build a program with vb.net that connect to a MS access database, and I send him the command (access queries) in sql format...
    I wont only to say if there is a method to block for few minuts a record of a table , to avoid that 2 pc can modify the same record...

    Another question....
    Whot is the best way to connect to an msaccess database?

    Currently I'm using system.data.oledb (Is this ado.net or not??????)

    But I say that exist other method...
    I have read that exist system.data.ado, but my vb.net not recognize this resource....

    sorry for my basic question...but I'm sarting now with vb.net and databases...
