Display Browser Windows on Restart?
In the past, when I started my Win98, some IE version used to reopen the web pages I had open when I shutdown. Now it's not doing that. Currently I'm using IE 5.0. Is there a setting to enable/disable this feature/bug?
Unless somehow I had v5.5 and reverted back to 5.0, advice to get the latest version will be frowned upon.

i really don't think that this is built in to IE, perhaps you had a 3rd party tool that saved the current web-page...

I don't recall going out of my way to install such a utility.
Explorer restarts with the last open folders.

Right now, only Opera has that function built-in. I still wonder why MS didn't include it in IE but it's really not there.

Global (General) Browser Setting?
Now that's pretty strange. This was happening with my IE browser.
I did install Opera once, it would be wierd if it set some global thingy that allowed this behavior in IE.

I think it because depending on how windows is shut down it sometimes reopens all the folders and programs that were open.
