[RESOLVED] VB6 vs VB.net
Hello,
We've been using VB 6 at work for some time, but I have not needed to learn as of yet. But now I've registered for a Vb.net course but am unsure of the differences in the two programming environments.
Obviously the VB 6 has evolved into Visual Basic 2005 and now VB.net and I'm guessing that the VB.net course is far superior to the older v6, but what are the main differences between the two environments?
Just learning......CCarver

Re: VB6 vs VB.net
The main difference is that VB.Net is an object oriented language, whereas VB6 is not.
There are already a great number of threads on this subject, have you tried searching?

Do a search on this topic JUST in this one forum section. You will discover enough reading material for an entire evening, perhaps more.
