Icons
Does anyone know how to modify an icon? I've got Photoshop, Quark, ImageReady... Paint!!! None of this stuff will open the file. What's the secret? I've never been asked to do this before, and I've spent way too much time on it already!

I think Visual C++ has an icon editor in it.
Josh
Get these: Mozilla Opera OpenBSD
I have books for sale: "MCSD in a Nutshell" and "VB Distributed Exam Cram" - PM me for details. Will also trade for a decent ATX Pentium 2 MB/CPU/RAM combo.

They won't let me load Visual C++ on this machine, or any other machine here. They don't want to pay for the license. Any other ideas?

There's lots of free icon editors on www.PlanetSourceCode.com, including the source code. (some aren't very good though!)

Microangelo! It's a 30-day trial but you can still use it after 30 days with more nag screens. Also it's only $40 or so last time I checked anyway.

I only have access to certain sites, PlanetSourceCode is one of them, but I have to register, of course the proxy server will not let me do that, I used to be able to turn off the proxy server and get around, but that doesn't work anymore. ImpactSoft.com is right out. Thanks anyway, I guess I'll have to wait until I get home.
