Question How to open file, check for string of running window name and copy line.

I'm making a program that makes it easier for me to reinstall all my software on a new computer.

My idea is to make it search a file for a Window title and parse that line for information (such as the serial key), which is then copied to the clipboard when clicking the tray icon.

What would be the most efficient way to implement this?

And also, how would I check if a new Window has opened?

    Thanks,
    John
