What is the best IDE to use to develop VB6 code across platforms?

It can also be a VB family. For example, VB. Net core, Python, its syntax is similar to Vb6.

Visual fbeditor, which is the latest version of QBASIC. And VB6, many features are similar. He has implemented the programming on Linux.

There used to be a software. The function of gamebas is very similar to that of Vb6. Maybe it is an open source product. But his technology is still too backward, and he doesn't give us the same secondary development function as VBA. He has no way to compile it into exe independently, and each of his source codes is actually like a Vbs script invented by himself.

I hope twinbasic can. Developing VB6 programs under Linux

Let's be realists -- this is not happening anytime soon *and* this feature of TB and TB IDE is not that important.

You might think it's important but it's not. Just learn TypeScript w/ React and you are free to roam Linux greener pastures as a newborn dev!

Btw, let's not distract Wayne aiming for the important stuff which is finishing v1. . . on Windows!

    cheers,

i think you should port gambas over to run on windows to have perfect cross platform support then you can transpile to javascript for web and the task is simply complete

For now, I think twinbasic has the best chance of success. The second is visualfbeditor, and the third is to turn the web version of VBScript into a cross-platform. In this way, you can run basic code as long as there is a web page. Including the Android app.

At the moment, I can already convert my scripting language to TS/JS, but I don't seem to be willing to stop there. A transpiler is not what I really want.

May use the VBS cript. JS, the realization runs the VBS code on the homepage. It's just that no one is willing to study it.
3d.js, SVG. JS, everything can be done.

The main issue is copyright, and can we make profits from it?
As long as it is profitable, many people will buy millions of dollars of graphics cards to deploy large models of ai.He hopes to earn tens of millions and billions of dollars during the outbreak of ai.
